Fairfield, CT – September 5th, 2023 — Superhero Cowgirl Princess was created by the mother and daughter team of Janine and Juliet Parker. While it’s possible that a children’s book has never been twenty years in the making before, that’s not the biggest revelation about Superhero Cowgirl Princess. Janine Parker was inspired to write the book following conversations she had with her daughter Juliet when she was three years old and trying to figure out what to dress up as for Halloween. Now, twenty years later, Juliet Parker, a Rochester Institute of Technology Fine Arts graduate, has illustrated the story about herself, herself.
Superhero Cowgirl Princess is the story of how one girl expands her imagination by creating her own unique Halloween costume. It spotlights a tender and poignant discussion between a mother and daughter about using one’s imagination to think past limitations. Even with a dragon included, it’s a beautiful Halloween story without being scary. Adults reading the book may find themselves inspired and have their imaginations reinvigorated.
