It’s official, Superhero Cowgirl Princess is ready to print. We’re planning for the first edition to be available this Fall, in time for Halloween.
It’s been quite a journey getting to this point. As some of you know, this began about twenty years ago when Janine first captured the wonderful conversation she had with Juliet. At the time, nobody suspected that Juliet herself would bring the story to life as its illustrator.
For those of you who have not been able to see the mock-up for yourselves, be sure and check the preview link for a sampling of pages from the book. You’ll find a Halloween story with an intentionally vintage appearance that isn’t at all scary. Instead, it’s an uplifting account of a mother encouraging her daughter’s creativity and imagination.
Over the next couple of weeks, emails will go to family, friends, and even my business contacts announcing the book’s upcoming release. All we’re asking now is for people to sign up to reserve copies. Later, as the printing date draws closer, we’ll switch that to an actual order page and follow up with everyone who signed up to reserve copies.
I thank you in advance for your support and interest in Superhero Cowgirl Princess and look forward to hearing about your first impressions when you have the book in your hands.
Here is a photo of Juliet as the original Superhero Cowgirl Princess when she was three years old. (I’ve kept the hat and boots!)
